Business Services North is a joint program of the NH Small Business Development Center, Northern Community Investment Corporation, and White Mountains Community College with support from the Neil and Louise Tillotson Fund of the NH Charitable Foundation.

 

Northern Community Investment Corporation (NCIC)
Established in 1975, NCIC is a non-profit, certified Community Development Financial Institution working to address regional economic challenges. Today, NCIC continues to build partnerships to develop creative and effective solutions to strengthen individual businesses, communities and the region and to create diverse employment opportunities. NCIC responds in a rapid and unique way to the needs of individual businesses and communities: expanding high-speed Internet access, the promotion of tourism, finding affordable energy solutions, and offering businesses of any size financial and technical assistance. NCIC serves New Hampshire’s Carroll, Coos and Grafton Counties and Vermont’s Caledonia, Essex and Orleans Counties.

 

New Hampshire Small Business Development Center (NH SBDC)
NH SBDC, an outreach program of the University of New Hampshire’s Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics, provides confidential, long-term, business management advising and educational programs to New Hampshire businesses. Services are delivered at regional offices and satellite locations by full-time certified business advisors at no cost to the client. The NH SBDC has advised businesses for 29 years, and over the last decade helped 8,000 businesses create and retain more than 4,300 jobs and raise $200 million in capital. NH SBDC is a cooperative venture of the U.S. Small Business Administration, the State of New Hampshire (DRED), the University System of New Hampshire, and the private sector. One of 64 SBDC programs nationwide, the NH SBDC was fully accredited in 2010 by the Association of Small Business Development Center.

 

White Mountains Community College (WMCC)
WMCC is located in Berlin, NH and is one of seven colleges in the Community College System of New Hampshire. WMCC offers Associate Degree and Certificate programs, plus training options, preparing students for 21st century job opportunities as well as transfer pathways to four year colleges and universities. WMCC is fully accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. Our courses are the most affordable in New Hampshire and our Littleton Academic Center makes us accessible to all students in the North Country Region.
